The Invitation

I know it's hard to believe that I'm turning 40… but I must say, it's been one hell of a ride!

More than anything, this birthday has made me realize how grateful I am for the people in my life. Family, old friends, new friends, the people I've travelled with, laughed with, built things with, celebrated with, and leaned on when life wasn't always easy. Every one of you has played a part in my story, and I honestly wouldn't be the person I am today without you.

I want to celebrate this birthday by creating new memories with the people who matter most to me. So… I'm inviting you to Morocco.

My only wish is that as many of you as possible can make it. Seeing everyone I care about in one place would honestly be the best birthday present I could ask for.

— Gustav

Chapter I

Marrakech

28 October – 1 November

The trip begins in Marrakech on Wednesday, 28 October, where we'll spend four unforgettable days together until Sunday, 1 November.

For this part of the trip, I've rented beautiful riads and mansions — and your accommodation is on me. This is the main birthday celebration, and I'd love for everyone to be there.

We'll spend our days and nights soaking up everything Marrakech has to offer. If the weather and timing are right, we may even take to the skies in hot air balloons.

Days & nights of

Pool parties
Incredible dinners
Guided city tours
Rooftop sunsets
Wandering the souks
Desert quad biking
A night beneath desert stars
Hot air balloons, weather willing

Chapter II

Essaouira

1 – 4 November

Optional

For those who aren't ready to go home, the adventure continues.

From Sunday, 1 November until Wednesday, 4 November, we'll head west to the beautiful coastal town of Essaouira — one of Morocco's most charming places, all beach vibes and sea air.

This part of the trip is optional, and accommodation is booked and paid individually by each guest.

Coastal days of

Surfing & kitesurfing
Long lunches
Wandering the Medina
Local markets
Sunsets by the beach
Beach life, taken slow

Norwegian / Ryanair

Getting there is easy — Norwegian operates direct flights from Stockholm Arlanda to Marrakech. Right now flights are really cheap: roundtrip for around 2,500 kr if you stay for the whole trip.

If you fly from Stockholm and only join the first part (Marrakech), you'll fly out with Norwegian on the 28th and back with Ryanair on 1 November. Unfortunately that combination is slightly more expensive.

RSVP

Seeing everyone in one place would be the best birthday present Gustav could ask for. Let him know you're coming.
